Poppy is a really sweet grey/dun Connemara filly, she was lightly shown in the 2010 season and was presented for inspection for inclusion in the Connemara Pony Breeders Stud Book. She passed easily and is now a class 1 registered mare. Poppy will not go to stud this year, she will be shown and left to mature.
Now broken and riding Poppy has excelled in her first full season of showing (2012). She has won numerous classes both in-hand and ridden including Reserve Overall Supreme (Ridden) at the IPS Championship show at Knockagh Lodge.
She has won in both show-jumping and Working Hunters late in the season and we are looking forward to a full season in 2013
